The Internet is very convenient to everyone and changed people's life. At present we can use the Internet to do a lot of things. You just connect to the Internet easily then you get various information. You could not go out but you could know the real-time news of world by Internet. And the Internet supports people to do so many things efficiently. For example, people could file a report on their liable taxations by the Internet.

In the past, we should go to library or look up the encyclopaedia if we need to find information. Now we can use the Internet to achieve a lot of useful information and download pictures. We save much time and we do not pay extra fees. Because of this property, people like to read online newspapers instead of printing newspapers. Owing to the Internet breaks the limit of time and space, you can contact with your friends who lives far. You can send email to your friends and chat with your friends on MSN or in the video-conference. In addition, you can play online game to forward your friend relationship.

The Internet relates to our life nearly. So I think that The Internet is a living tool for people in the knowledge times. Because of its convenience, people rely on the Internet. Even someone addict to the Internet. They neglect their duty because they usually stay front computer and concentrate their attention on Internet all day long. It damages their social ability and health. Maybe we should use Internet properly and choice good for us.

Free writing-- Last Saturday

Last Saturday I went to the shopping district of taipei city hall. Fisrt, I went to thether to see "spiderman 3". I had a bad seat in the third row so my neck was very ache. and the other bad thing is someone next to me is very scare even spiderman is not a horror movie. Her behavior let me feel not good.
After movie, I saw a guy immovable standing on the street. He wore a long cloth and painted himself as gray. He also stuck many boxs on his body. He looked like so funny. When people gave him a coin, he just moved and did some funny actions.
My friend told me that every holiday here are many guy like him to act for making money. I think that is other way to show for talented people. Maybe one day he can be famous!!

Compare and contrast living at home and in the dormitory (final)

There are many differences between living at home and living in the dormitory. Though I have never lived in the dormitory, many of my friends told me the things about the experiences that they lived in the dormitory. I think the remarkable difference between living at home and in the dormitory is you should do everything by yourself and you can learn different life styles from home. Owing to we live at home since we was born, we were used to be managed by parents in terms of everything. We do not have to worry about how to prepare our diet. Parents would protect us from being harmed and give us a lot of care. We will not) grow up because parents shield us from hard things. Unlike living at home, living in the dormitory, you should do everything by yourself. Things like cleaning your room and washing dirty clothes…, etc. Maybe these things are very cumbersome, but it can train us to be independent on the other hand. And when you live in the dormitory, you can know every kind of roommates. It seems to be interesting to make a lot of friends. You can find distinctive characters from them. For example, people who come from the south are friendly and they speak Taiwanese fluently. On the contrary, you should tolerate dissimilar life styles in the dormitory and you do not have personal space to do the things you like to. For instance, some people are used to going to bed late because they like to do things in the midnight. Some people will be crazy when they can not sleep well.

Living at home and living in the dormitory have both advantages and disadvantages. But it depends on yourself to choose one suitable for you. Next semester I will have a chance to live in the dormitory. I think I should try to learn how to adapt to various conditions and become mature.

Last week I attended my sister's wedding. I was bridesmaid. It is a tiring job to me. I should carry heavy bridal veils and all bride's baggages. And I learn many traditional ceremony about marriage. For example, bridegroom should call for bride on time and bride should prepare tea for bridegroom's parents...etc. I think it's very complicated.
But that's wonderful wedding. my sister is most beatiful wowan in the world. haha~~~

Why did I choose my major? (Final)

My major is Information Management(IM). Tracing back to the reason why I chose IM is my father's suggestion. He told me that computer is indispensable in the future.
When I graduated from junior high school, I enrolled in National Taipei College of Business(NTCB). At that time, I was too young to plan for my future. I felt bewildered that I have no idea to choose my major, so I asked my father for help. My father gave me some suggestions about how to choose the major. He analyzed college departments to me from every aspect. He told me that the prospect of IM is promising. It's necessary for everyone to learn how to use the computer. It may be a common sense in the future. He advised me to accumulate the skills of using computer so that I can keep up with the trend. I believe that computer will replace people to do anything like robots do in the future. Besides, I surf the Internet to prove my father's statements. I found that using the computer is a basic requirement for work. So I thought if I choose IM as my major, I will have more chances to hunt a job.
Certainly, I faced the same problem to choose my major again when I graduated from NTCB. During the past five years, I found out that Information technology would be a plus for me. Different from the past time, I had a clear plan and I decided to continue learning IM. In addition to the reasons that I described in the above, I developed an interest in IM and I could handle the work in IM well. So I chose IM when I was admitted to NTUST. Presently, I have been studying IM for seven years. I am never regretful for choosing IM as my major and I deeply appreciated my father's advice. In my graduate school, I will do research for two more years in IM. I hope that I will be excellent in my field of study.
